Just Love these!!!

Somehow...I just can't get enough of these fun Halloween treat jars.....I have plans for one more....guess I need to get it done, since tomorrow is Halloween.

Weather finally improved today....boy, that was some storm....I think we are gonna get alot of those this winter....I DID get lots done...I'm actually starting to work on Decembers projects and classes!!! WooHoo!!!!! Tomorrow is a busy day....We always have a big Chilli Dinner on Halloween, and celebrate Steven's Birthday.... so I've got Chilli and Birthday Cake, and Cole slaw and corn muffins to get made.....

Oh...I did get thru all of the stuff I needed to do for my Certification for My Digital Studio....I wasn't sure I was gonna make it...took my quizes last nite, and sent off my project to the printer....so I am good to go....I am having such a blast with this program....It is soo... easy to use...and can be used for sooo.....many things. Can't wait to really get into it now!!!

A Tip and a Peek!!!!

WE woke to light blowing snow...but if it does this all day...it is gonna amount to alot...it's the kind that sneeks up on you. Finished the projects for next months Stamper's 10 Clubs....so thought I'd wet your whistle, and give you all a Sneek Peek.

One is an excelent technique to use on your Christmas Cards and Holiday Scrapbook pages. The other would meake a cute little gift, or stocking stuffer!!!!

And for our TIP.... I haven't tried it yet...but have seen some projects using this...and it is neat....I know alot of you love the Tattered Angels Shimmering Sprays....well now you can make your own. In an empty fine mist spray bottle, fill about half way with rubbing alcohol and about 1/2 teaspoon of the Shimmery Paint. This is the same method I have used in the past with Pearl Ex paint, to give your card stock a Shimmery Effect. The Champagne Mist is beautiful, and the Frosted White gives darker card stock a silvery glimmer. Shake well, and apply a fine spritz to your cardstock. The card stock will curl, as it always does when you get it wet, so place a book or something heavy on it while it is drying. You can use a heat tool to speed up the drying process. The glitter doesn't rub off after drying, like the Pearl Ex does. I want to play with it and add a few drops of reinkers....I think you should be able to get colors that way. This makes your Shimmer Paints work even harder....You can also dab them onto your stamps and stamp, or dab them direct to paper for a shimmery look. This technique gives a very overall shimmery look!!!!

OOOPPPSSS...I forgot!!!

I forgot to post the pictures of the Technique Classes we did this month. I think I just got so busy with the crop...I thought I had done it...so here they are....we did Doodling this month...about as easy as you can get,......remember doodling in Junior High School.....Well just take that to your die cuts or stamped images.....add a personal embelishment. Next month we will be doing Faux Silk....I love this technique!!!

Don't look too closly at the patterned paper...it is some older discontinued papers...I'm trying to get used up....but I still love it!!!

Great Day!!!

Yesterday was my youngest daughters Baby Shower....unfortunatly, I was using my new camera...and lost half the pictures....But the ones I got were good ones!!!!

Then today, was my Stampin Free For All...and we had a blast.....Kim brought stuff to make Christmas Trees using the Big Shot Die...and we had Cute Christmas Trees all over the Stamp Studio....I wish I had taken a picture. I worked and finished 7 Scrapbook pages, in between helping everyone....I was trying to use up some very old Simply Scrappin' kits I have taking up room...
There is actually a page of the Baby Shower my friend Mary Ann gave me when I was pregnant with Alli....I may get these pages done someday!!!!

I love the chatter!!!!

I've been loving reading all of your comments!!!! AND it's time to do another give-away!!!! So lets shake it up and make this one a little different then past ones. SOO....To thank you for peeking in on my blog today and everyday, and as a BIG Thank You, I will draw 2 names out of everyone that makes a comment from now until....OH...let's say...Halloween, October 31. There is a requirement...Your comment should have your name, a good friends name, and your favorite color...here is what will happen. I will pick 2 comment winners, and each will recieve one of the stamps in the following photo. PLUS I will mail your friend a handstamped card. This is where your favorite color comes in, the card I make for your freind will be in your favorite color...so you want to see the stamps that will be given away???? Here they are....and yes, the water bottle is included with each of the stamps.....the winners will find out what the water bottle is all about when they get their prize. When the winners are announced....I will need you to e-mail me your address, and your friends address.

I haven't been posting on here as much as I would like. A few weeks ago...Steven dropped his camera...and he has been using mine until he could get the new one....and every time I would need to take pictures so I could post....there was no camera around....Well...today, Mr Fedex dropped off a package...and his new camera came!!!! It's basically the same camera as mine...just a newer version...so since he is prone to dropping cameras....he decided to take the older one, and give me the new one...which does better videos....WooHoo...and it is Rich Razzelbery in color!!!!

Was a busy day today. I am planning this big downline event...so went and looked at a possible room to use for the event...went to the post office....and then I actually had time to work on projects that have been piling up. Here's a cute Halloween decoration...Actually I cased it out of the current catalog!!!!

And here is a Christmas present...I used non-SU papers as I was trying to use up some old stuff I had....but it came out kinda nice!!!

OK...this is the view out my Stamp Room window....can you believe we have this much snow!!!! It was a good thing...I worked...uninterrupted all day....and I got so much done. I have been thinking about doing a downline event...and Stampin' Up! released a video yesterday....so my event took shape today....Lots to do, but I think it will be a fun event, I'm excited!!!

Then I worked on the myriad of projects I have piled up. Finally got the Matchbox Class Projects finished. It is going to be a great class.
There are 5 Matchboxes, that we will be making, using the Big Shot Matchbox Die....they all came out so cute....
The first one opens to reveal a mini journal....This is my favorite!!!!

They are even cuter in real life....The class will be held on Saturday, November 14 at 10:00. Cost will be $20.00. I need paid registration by November 7.

More Fall Fun!!!

Sorry, I've been missing again. Having the flu, and being out of commision that few days....put me behind schedule, and I had to Kick butt to get my kits done for yesterdays Crop!!!! But I made it!!!! Friday nite I had my Technique Friday....and had a great time....was very glad I had decided not to drive up to Loveland Friday nite, as it made for a much more relaxed class!!!! Came home and packed up the car and went to bed....knowing 4:00AM would be coming way too soon!!!! Left the house by 5:00....and do ya think I could find anyplace open that had a Mocha Frapachino.....I guess the McD's in Denver do not carry these...and I just couldn't get into hot mocha, as I still have lots of congestion from the flu...and hot makes me cough!!!! Made it up there in 3 hours....had to wait for someone to let me in.....The crop went great....was a small crew....but they think they can grow it!!!! I did down about 3 coffees before I left./...something I never drink after 1 in the afternoon...but I knew I would be dog tired driving thru Denver....thank God the traffic was light!!!!

So today, I'm back home and catching up.
Thought you would enjoy the swap, I had planned for Sunday afternoon....but since I couldn't go...they are now all over my house!!! Such a cute treat holder!!!!

I tried uploading the project we were going to do...but Blogger is nto letting me...I'm gonna use it for my swap for my Inkslingers group...so I will try and get it up when I post for that nite!!!!

Don't forget to leave me a comment, as my drawing for a kit is tomorrow....the kits went over wonderfully yesterday....so I guess this is now officially my newest venture.....Oh...and I made a comment to my Sister In Law today while on the Phone. Saying I was about to give up job hunting, and just do Stampin' Up! , and Dear Steven....didn't object!!!! What do ya think!!!!

Halloween Fun

Just thought I'd post a few pictures of the workshop I did Saturday....in the yucky weather. Stamping was a good way to spend an icy day!!!!

All of my workshops for October have a Halloween theme.....so the first project was a cute little treat holder....

Then our Hostess, Lisa asked to see the Shimmery Paint that is in the Holiday Mini.....I had just gotten some of it...so it gave me a great chance to play with it.....

With this one, I simply daubered some onto the Florish Stamp...and then stamped it....so easy...it gets darker as it dries.

With this one, I had used the Embossing Folders with the Big Shot...and it just needed a little more..."glitz" to make it special...so a lightly daubered some of it onto the flower image....that really make it stand out....the pictures don't do well , but it is a neat product!!!

Don't forget to post a comment for a chance to wind one of the Owl Kits!!!!

Missing in Action

Ladies...I apologize for no posts the past few days....I came down with the Flu. It more than likely was the H1N1, as I had a flu shot for the regular flu. My son came home from college the past 2 weekends, sicker than a dog...I made him stay here Monday and Tuesday, till I was sure he was gonna live....I started with it Sunday.....It is not fun...but the good thing, my fever has broken...and I'm not contageous anymore....and as soon as the fever breaks...you start feeling SOOO.....much better!!!!! And...now that is over and done with!!!!! I don't usually get sick to the point of not getting out of bed...but this just wiped me out!!!!

These are the projects we did for World Card Making Day...adn I will also be offering a class in it at the Santa Cops Crop I am doing up in Loveland in 2 weekends.

Tonite is my 2nd Thursday Stamper's 10 Hostess Club. I am putting together a kit with one of the cards...so stay tuned for that...it was really cute!!!! Maybe we should even do a contest!!!!

Let's Start Now...Gifts for Christmas

I should have waited and posted all together....Here are the 3 gifts we will be making in the Gifts for Christmas Class later this month....Thursday, October 15, at 6:30. The folder is a great size for lists...it even includes a list pad. The tin box is great for all those little things that get lost in your desk...and I just love the jumbo paper clips.

This is the inside of the folder.....
Cost is $20 and I still have room in the class....would love to see you here. These would be great as teacher or co-worker gifts!!!!

Sneak Peak Time!!!

OK...as promised....I just finished up this weeks Stamper's 10 projects...and here are the Sneak Peeks!!!!

I will post the full pictures after we meet on Friday!!!! They are both great cards...but one is just so cute!!!!

Now is the Time!!!

Could someone sell me some time....so I can get a nice long stretch to work on the New My Digital Studio....it is killing me that I haven't been able to really work with it much.....It is just soo... cool. Maybe next week, I will get my classes all caught up!!!! Stampin' Up! has announced a New Starter Kit for those of you that are interested in signing up to become a demonstrator, and would like to include this very cool tool in your kit.... it is only $185 and has everything you need to get started in your business with a flair for scrapbooking....very cool!!! I'd love for you to join my team....I have a personal goal right now to add 3 new recruits...It would bump me up to the next level so that I would be able to make my budget goals and only do Stampin' Up!!!! So if you have even just thought about it...give me a call or e-mail....it is a great opportunity...and soo....much fun!!!! When I go to work every day...I play!!!!!

Oh and also thru October...if you sign up, thru me, as a thank you....I am giving everyone a set of the new In- Color Markers...I just love these...we asked for them and Stampin' Up! listened!!!
