Turkey Day

WE had a fabulous Dinner at my Daughter Kris' home....Good Friends, Family, Food and Fun...could you ask for more.....Came home and decided to just putter in my office...and worked some more on Christmas presents for Co-workers...

This was so easy, and they really came out cute. I also finished up my project for Saturdays get together, and my Swap for the day at Kim's...but can't show them to you yet. I promise I will get pics of them before I give them all away!!!

Next I need to get some past mail from my mailbox posted...

Both are birthday cards, I lost in my pile...the first is from Mary Kay...I love her colors, and the second is from Paula Cooper. Belated Thanks guys!!!

I digress

Well not digress...but it's not stamping related...but does deal with creativity. I do do other crafts from time to time.....I also collect Christmas decorations...and have a huge collection...so huge that over the past 2 years...I have been boxing it all up, putting it into catagories...and will be doing themed Christmases from here on out....too much to get out and dust!!!! One of the themes is Nutcrackers...I love nutcrackers ever since our Exchange Student Ulli, from Germany started giving them to me for Christmas, when she was here.....I don't have too many of them as they are kinda expensive....so when I came across this Toy Soldior to make....I thought he reminded me of a Nut cracker and I thought he would be good in my collection...He came out kinda cute...with his stern littl face!!!

Well, off I go...I still have to prep for tomorrows class, and since I will be gone most of the day tomorrow....I better finish it up today....this morning was a wash...We headed out early to the Lab for Steven to get some Lab work done....he had been fasting since last nite.....so we wanted to hurry so we could enjoy a breakfast...but got to the Lab , and the line was forever.....so decided to do that another day...Then Steven had forgotten his insulin....and so we headed back home...as everyplace else I could run an errend...was not open yet....he dropped me off at Wally World...so I could at least get things there...and I left my list in the car....so only managed to remember half of what I needed...He headed back home to eat....came back to get me and we hit the Falcon Banks.....We did get alot done before 10:00....but I so much would have liked to have gotten the in town things done!!!!

Lazy Sunday

I'm sorry I didn't get anything posted yesterday...it was such a lazy day...I actually was able to take a nap...and then we were off to my Daughter, Kris' house for Princess Abbey's birthday ...which was actually Saturday...but we celabrated yesterday....and so you know what...I forgot my camera...so didn't get a picture of any of the princesses.....BooHoo...Princess Emma is growing so fast...and Princess Sarah...got her drivers permit this past week...oh my.....now I feel old....I remember teaching the girls to drive....

I did get a chance to play in the stamp studio...and worked on some old projects started, but not finished...:)

Snowy Day and Good Company!!!

Yesterday was my Stamping Friends monthly get together....and it was a cold, dreary, snowy day...so it was so nice to be able to spend it in such wonderful company!!! Kim had some yummy pizza...and a scrumptious Hummingbird Cake....My teeth are still sceaming at the sugar high!!! We stamped the afternoon away...forgeting about what it was doing outside. I will post the swaps and projects later!!!

Thought you would enjoy the box that I made for the Red Hat Box Lunch. We all decorated boxes...and then drew numbers for what lunch we got....This was my box that I made...The Flowers are the Fleeced Rossettes we will be doing at the next Big Shot and Fabric class....I made them as 2 pins so the gal that got my box can take them off and use them as lapel pins!!!
and then I won the one I was coveting...So pretty!!!

Home Decor

I love making things for the house.....it seems I've got a Time Themed thing going on in my front entry-way.....I have a sofa table there, and have a decopaged clock that I made, and hour glass, and so I did this up for a calendar.....The Calendar Kit was in the Holiday Mini....I usually get those and work a class around it...but time just got away from me this year....so I decided to use it for this....came out pretty good!!!

Did a Job Fair this morning....and boy...what a ZOO!!!! First, parking was a nightmare...I was on the bottomost basement level(4) and as far back as I could go....I actually had a panic attach on the way out....thinking about all of the earthquakes...I would not want to be down there then...it is dark and dingy normally.....I was never happier to come around the corner to sunlight!!! The fair...was about as crowded as it could get....and so hot...and naturally, I ment to leave my big heavy parka in the car...and forgot...so it was really hot!!!! Most of the places, I had already applied to ....so that was a waste!!!! Back to filling out applications!!!

Caught Up Day!!!!

All week...I have been busy, busy, busy....but didn't seem to be getting anything done...today was great....got all sorts of things done!!!!

Here's one more Christmas Present...have one more of these to finish....my great $3.00, Wally World frame!!!!

The car saga continues....Steven went out this morning and his truck wouldn't turn over....he's been babying it along for about a month now...and this bitter cold finally did it in...along with leaving the door not shut all the way and interior lights on for about 4 hours yesterday!!! I didn't have to go anywhere....so he took my car....and brought a battery home at lunch...went to put it in, and the battery terminals completely crumbled when he went to take them off...so at dinner he brought new terminals...and WooHoo..it started!!!! OK...Car mishap #3...that's it for me!!!

Poor Steven....I think I told you all, a few months back, how he got stopped for not having the correct stickers on his license plate...because they had been stolen....and had to go and wait at the DMV for new ones....So today he's out doing inspections....and gets stopped again....someone had peeled them off again....so he heads down to the DMV...waits all afternoon to get new stickers....only to get home and the new ones I had just sent off for were there in the mailbox.....so he has a second set in case they get stolen again!!!! Enough of car mishaps!!!!

MIA...again

Sorry, I haven't been on here as often as I would like....I have been just enthralled with My Digital Studio...I just finished up my first album...of Convention, and am sending it off to the printer...as soon as I figure out how to export pages...I will get a few on here!!!! It is just so much fun. I can see this is going to sped up the Scrapbooking proccess!!!!

I did want to share some of the Christmas presents I have been working on. I came across some really beautiful frames at Wal Mart for $3.00 each.


Then I went thru some of my old stash of stuff...and put together this for my step Mom.

It's worse out today.....

Today is much worse that yesterday...the wind is just howling out there.....and the snow...is piling up today....Yuck....I just put a pot of Beef Stew on, for dinner:) So I will be in my Stamp Studio all afternoon....such a hard job!!!!

I haven't been posting on here as much as I would like. A few weeks ago...Steven dropped his camera...and he has been using mine until he could get the new one....and every time I would need to take pictures so I could post....there was no camera around....Well...today, Mr Fedex dropped off a package...and his new camera came!!!! It's basically the same camera as mine...just a newer version...so since he is prone to dropping cameras....he decided to take the older one, and give me the new one...which does better videos....WooHoo...and it is Rich Razzelbery in color!!!!

Was a busy day today. I am planning this big downline event...so went and looked at a possible room to use for the event...went to the post office....and then I actually had time to work on projects that have been piling up. Here's a cute Halloween decoration...Actually I cased it out of the current catalog!!!!

And here is a Christmas present...I used non-SU papers as I was trying to use up some old stuff I had....but it came out kinda nice!!!
