Sale-a-Bration Bonus Product!!!!!

Stampin' Up! has done something I don't remember them ever doing before...they have add 4 new products to Sale-a-bration!!!!  YaHoo!!!!  You have till the end of the month!!!!
Found some Christmas cards from a Christmas swap this past holiday....not sure I will ever get thie desk uncovered!!!!  And yes, I thought I was done Fall, and found some more...Will get them up this week, and hopefully that will be the end!!!! (but then you know how I love Fall!!!)
Sam's Famous Carrot Cake
3 eggs
3/4 C. Buttermilk
3/4 C. Vegetable oil
1 1/2 C white sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 tsp gr. cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
2C All-Purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 C shredded carrots
2 C flaked coconut
1 C chopped walnuts
1 (8 oz) can crushed pineapple with juice
1 C raisins
Preheat oven to 350F.  Grease and flour an 8 X 12" pan.  In a medium bowl, sift flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon, set aside.  In large bowl, combine eggs, buttermilk, oil sugar, and vanilla.  Mix well.  Add flour mixture..., and mix well.  In medium bowl, combine shredded carrots, coconut, walnuts, pineapple and raisins.  Using a large wooden spoon, or heavy wisk, add carrot mixture to batter, and fold in well.   Pour into prepared pan, and bake 350F for 1 hour.  Check with toothpick.  Allow to cool at least 20 min.
Cream Cheese Frosting
2 (8 oz,) pkg. cream cheese
1/2C. butter soft
2 C.  sifted confectioners sugar
1sp. vanilla 
in a medium bowl, cream together cream cheese and butter....mix in vanilla, then gradually add sugar.  Frost cake!!!!  Enjoy, and Bon Apetite!!!

You Plus Me

I know...Valentines Day has come and gone, but everyday is a chance to show your LOVE!!!!  The hearts and Ampersand are great in this set!!!!  This set can be found in the Occasions Catalog!


I think Halloween cards are all done, Thanksgiving...think there are a few....and now onto Christmas!!!!
Chipolte Shrimp Scampi
12 oz. angel hair pasta
1/2 C fresh cilantro leaves
1 TBL. Olive oil
1 1/2 lb. large, uncooked, peeled, deveined shrimp
6 cloves garlic
1 Tbl.  Chipolte Rub
6 TBL. butter
2 limes
1 C. dry white wine
3/4 C. chicken broth
dash salt
Cook pasta, drain & toss with cilantro.  Add oil to skillet and heat over med. high heat for 1-2 min.  Add shrimp & pressed garlic.  Cook 2-3 min.  per side. Remove shrimpto bowl & keep warm.  Add wine to skillet, cook 3-4 min. Add butter, 1/4 C. lime juice, broth and salt.  Cook 2-3 min.  Drizzle sauce ovver pasta.  Top with shrimp.  I served mine with fresh grated Parmesan cheese.  Enjoy and Bon Appetite!!!!
