Time for a Contest

We haven't done a Contest in ages...time to do one....I'm lovin' the new Mini...if you ordered this past Quarter from me...you should have gotten one...want one...let me know....

This card was done with the Love you Much set out of the regular catalog...and with the Square Lattice Die...you have gotta see it in person to really appreciate it...love this die!!!! First Paid Holiday

I've worked many jobs in my life.. and I guess you could say, I had paid holidays when I was Salaried....but this is really my first "Paid" holiday...WooHoo...Slept in late this morning...and am using it to catch up since we were on the go the rest of the holiday weekend...but it is so nice to just be able to move at my own pace.

Thought I'd post a pic of a box that I'm doing a contest for, for my DownLine. It's made with the Match Box and Top Note Dies....I love using these...they are so easy to make cute little gifts.

There will also be some small product in the drawers....my Downline Work hard, and I truely appreciate them....if you'd like to join my group...contact me...It's a great job!!! Where else can you go to work, earn $$$ and product and play!!!

Blog Contest....and a big WooHoo!!!

Can you see me doing the Snoopy Happy Dance. I got a job offer this morning for the position at Colorado Engineering...and I am sooo...Happy!!! I start next Monday...and it will be part time to start and move to full time as I take on more responsibility. I love slower starts....seems like you retain more of the information you are learning!!!!

It is also the day we need to pick winners to our blog contest....for the cute little matchboxes with CHOCOLATE!!!!

Gone with the Wind!!!

Boy...I don't think I have ever seen it sooooo windy for sooooo long....this has just been horrible....We're talking...having a hard time standin' up to pump gas in the car type wind.....

I thought I would be getting back to my normal schedule after today, but my Crew Leader for the Census called this morning...and said that she found some more work for me to do...so I have another week.....but at least I feel like I have a handle on it this time!!!! I'm planning on working on classes this evening...which I haven't been able to do in 2 weeks!!!! I may even get to stamp some...WooHoo!!!

Convention Projects

As most of you know....I am doing the Stampin' Up! booth at the Rocky Mountain Rubber Hi....so today I needed to get the projects that I am doing a class for finished...or at least semi finished so I could send pictures off to the show organizer...so that they can go up on the web page.....so here they are...I'm doing a 2 hour class and we will be making one of these cute, Photo Journal Folders titled "A Little Birdie Told Me" and then a little mini album .

And here are the insides!!! Now I need to calculate product so I don't go over or under board on my ordering!!!! What do you think???
I think I will need to order a second Party Hardy set...so leave me a comment or e-mail me one, on how you like the projects and I will draw for it after the show!!!

OK....for our next Blog Contest!!! I have always wanted to make these Diorama Box Cards...but they always looked too tricky for me....then I came across a real easy pattern, the other day...and had to make some.....

This one is very simple...but it really came out cute!!! It uses the Bug & Kisses set(116580; $26.95)!!! Which is in the Main catalog. If you order it between now and April 15, you can have it for $24.25. The bugs are just too cute here!!! We've been watching the Life Series...the new one I think National Geographic did...Love the bugs!!!!

Baby Days!!!! A Tutorial and a Contest!!!

Today, I'm getting my baby Fix....ya need those every once in a while!!!! Puts things into perspective. I have Princess Emma for the day!!!! She has been so good....I was gonna rearrange my schedule and do errands tomorrow....but it was looking like the storm front that is due tomorrow was coming in early...so I decided to take her with me, and we'd run, at least the in town ones.....First we had to figure out the car seat.....Actually got all but two errands run...and I forgot the things I needed for those so will run to Falcon tomorrow and finish up before the storm!!!!

Thought I'd share a very short Tutorial....Do you not just LOVE this Designer Paper!!!! IT is so delicate...it is the Pawsitively Prints, (118060, $9.95) sold in the Mini's with Build A Bear. All of the prints are tiny so that it can be used with the Die Cut clothing...but I just love this flower print!!!! I wanted to show you how to do the Punch and Poke part of the card...You can use the Paper Piercing Tool and the Paper Piercing Mat.....or you can use the low tec version....
I use the Foam Craft sheets, a few layers....and I found these giant Push Pins...I just keep a few on my bulletin board, so I can always find them......After you punch the flower out, lay your paper on the Foam sheet and take the push pin and pierce your paper around....these are much easier to hang onto!!!!! Lets go ahead and do a contest too!!!! Since I have a whole container of both...we will draw from those of you that comment....for a set...I also have a whole basket of Old 3-D projects I've been saving for ideas...I mean for years...have been doing house cleaning...some are very old...but the ideas are still good, so I will throw a couple of these in too!!! WE are coming up on 6000 Hits to the Blog...can you believe it....so leave comments, and I will draw when we get to 6000!!!! Good Luck!!!

Long Day!!!!

Wheew!!! I've been stamping almost all day!!!! Got loads done...but just realized...I was tired. Just finished up the card I'm sending out for the Blog Contest...so after I post that on here...I'm done for the nite!!!!

Fortunatly both winners chose Purple for their card color...although it would have been easy to swap this card out in almost any color!!!!
OK...think I'll go read for a while!!!!

Blog Contest!!!!

Some of you were asking what the water bottle was for in the Blog contest....so here is a picture of what our 2 winners will get. I will post the cards to their friends as soon as they are finished. This is just a little treat holder that hangs on the bottle and holds a packet of drink flavoring. Great for party favors!!!!

Blog Drawing.....

Yesterday was tiring...but fun...Baked and cooked all day...No chilli left over...a scoop of Cole Slaw, and one corn muffin!!!!! I guess it was all a hit. Little bit of Birth day cake for Steven and I to nibble on.

I've been loving reading all of your comments!!!! AND it's time to do another give-away!!!! So lets shake it up and make this one a little different then past ones. I haven't been posting on here as much as I would like. A few weeks ago...Steven dropped his camera...and he has been using mine until he could get the new one....and every time I would need to take pictures so I could post....there was no camera around....Well...today, Mr Fedex dropped off a package...and his new camera came!!!! It's basically the same camera as mine...just a newer version...so since he is prone to dropping cameras....he decided to take the older one, and give me the new one...which does better videos....WooHoo...and it is Rich Razzelbery in color!!!!

Was a busy day today. I am planning this big downline event...so went and looked at a possible room to use for the event...went to the post office....and then I actually had time to work on projects that have been piling up. Here's a cute Halloween decoration...Actually I cased it out of the current catalog!!!!

And here is a Christmas present...I used non-SU papers as I was trying to use up some old stuff I had....but it came out kinda nice!!!

Short and Sweet....

This is going to be short....I had the opportunity to work for the day today...and also tomorrow subbing for my old co-worker Jennifer at Harmony...and I am wiped out. I was sorta bumbed when Liz told me they had hired someone to work the newly opened Monday's , before she knew I was unemployed....but I do understand....it would have been the perfect job...giving me time to work on my Stampin' Up!!!! Something will come up!!! So...to our contest....I had Matt draw the 3 names....and they are....

Let's do another Contest!!!

OK Girls....I love having fun...let's do another contest here.....I'm having a blast with my Blog...but no one is leaving comments.....I want this to be interactive....I need to hear from you all, so I know what direction to take this all!!!! So here is what we are gonna do for this contest. Our time frame is, Starting today, until I get home from Convention....on August 9. This one has some rules to follow....
