New Class!!! Finally!!!!

Hello All....It was a busy Weekend.....First with Saturday, doing Habitat...and then Sunday was our All Day Stamp for Stamping Friends at Donna's house....We had a blast and she had some Yummy food for us all....we never go without food at these events!!! The company was the best, and we did 2 cute projects that Donna provided.....and them some cards...I will post those later. Today I had my yearly check up with my Cardioligist...and he was very pleased....the gal that checked me in just couldn't get a blood preasure reading on me.....I assured her that I was very much alive....finally they did, and it was so low....which it always used to be before I had all of these problems....it was 102/60.....so I was very happy about that....She kept asking me ....are you sure you're not light headed.....You're not gonna pass out, are you....no this is normal for me, pre cardiac problems.....When it goes high...I know as my head feels like it is gonna explode. So it was a good day....they want to do some sort of fancy new test...which will probably cost a fortune.....I'm just not sure it's warrented...but he said it's better to be safe...he hates reading the obituaries...and someone is on there that the test would have benefited.....We shall see.....After the Doctor's...I ran all sorts of errands...and just now got home...so it has been a busy day....

I wanted to get pictures up of the upcoming Big Shot/Punch Class....I finally got the samples all done....
The 4 cards came out so cute...and we will be making evvelopes to go with them....as they are off sized....they also have a surprize to them...you have to come to the class to see.
Here is the little box they will all go into.....
The class will be held on Tuesday, April 13 at 6:30 and is only $10.00....such a deal....I need to know if you are attending by 4/6/2010. I will also do Kits for this class, so if you can't make it, or are too far away...you can still make the project!!! Cost of the kit is $15.00.

And here is Princess Abbey modeling the bag....

I've had a few requests....and I have a ton of other fabric projects using the Big Shot....so I'm pondering holding a quarterly Fabric/Big Shot class...if you think that is something that would appeal to you...let me know...and I will see about getting it on the calendar!!! Sewing is minimal on most projects....some use hot glue....Most projects use scrap fabric....

Brayer Class

I finally got the 2 projects put together for our first Brayer Class....Not all projects will be using brayers...most will...but some will be doing sponging, as in the turquoise card. You can sign up for one...or all....there will be some building of technique.....The first in this quarterly series will be held Monday, March 22, at 6:30, with the deadline being 3/15/2010. Cost is $10.00.

The first card shows the brayer resist technique...with some sponging to get depth in the picture....you are actually building a landscape here.

The second project ...and I love these colors....is a lesson in sponging to get depth in your picture, and then highlighting....dark and light. These classes are a great way to grow the artist within you!!! Hope to see you here.

Missing in Action

Ladies...I apologize for no posts the past few days....I came down with the Flu. It more than likely was the H1N1, as I had a flu shot for the regular flu. My son came home from college the past 2 weekends, sicker than a dog...I made him stay here Monday and Tuesday, till I was sure he was gonna live....I started with it Sunday.....It is not fun...but the good thing, my fever has broken...and I'm not contageous anymore....and as soon as the fever breaks...you start feeling SOOO.....much better!!!!! And...now that is over and done with!!!!! I don't usually get sick to the point of not getting out of bed...but this just wiped me out!!!!

These are the projects we did for World Card Making Day...adn I will also be offering a class in it at the Santa Cops Crop I am doing up in Loveland in 2 weekends.

Tonite is my 2nd Thursday Stamper's 10 Hostess Club. I am putting together a kit with one of the cards...so stay tuned for that...it was really cute!!!! Maybe we should even do a contest!!!!

This is the inside of the folder.....
Cost is $20 and I still have room in the class....would love to see you here. These would be great as teacher or co-worker gifts!!!!

I need to run and work on finishing up my Stamper's 10 projects, my swaps and project for Sunday, and my technique Class projects....all are so cute...will post them when they are done. Cloudy, rainy, BUT... Fun Saturday.

It was cloudy, and rainy, and generally an under the weather day....but we got to enjoy the evening with a group of recent Master Student Graduates from Adam's State....our oldest daughter Kris being one of them...at the Fox and the Hound Pub. Yummy food, and lots of fun!!! Congratulations Kris...a wonderful accomplishment!!!!

That's Kris and I....I'm the one with gray hair....

Today was a day to catch up on all the things that just never seem to get done....like cleaning bathrooms, and working on classes....the classes are much more fun to work on than bathrooms!!!!

These are the projects we will be doing at the August 17, 6:30 , Book It Class. They came out really cute, and would make great teacher and co-worker gifts....contact me by August 10, If you are interested, so that I can get supplies ordered!!!! Cost is $20 for the class and all supplies.
