Quiet Day

Today was my Stampin' Free for All...and I think the weather kept everyone at home!!!! That's OK...cause I got a ton of scrapbooking done!!!

Precisly, 7 pages, one card and a mini album.....Woo Hoo...I was on a roll...Actually I used the Simply Scrappin' Kits again....I have tons of old partial ones from old classes....and tons of older papers...so I really want to get those used up instead of buying new product...trying to be Green!!!! It's nice to see the pile o fpages go up and the old albums go down!!!

Photo Pages

I had 1 1/2 hours to kill yesterday befor I left for my interview.....and so I actually got 5 scrapbook pages done...they are very simple pages....I think all of mine will be that way until I get somewhat caught up...but hey...that's 5 more pages. I used some of the discontinued...very old, Simply Scrappin' Kits....and they make scrapbooking so easy and quick. If you get a chance ... come by next month for my Stampin' Free for All and I will be doing more of these!!!

Interview went OK...it was very long, and lots of tests...and if you know me...I am test challenged.....Who thinks of these torture tests.....I did do good on them though...even the timed one I didn't finish....he said he had never seen anyone score 100%, on what I did get through, and I almost finished!!! Bombed on the typing...but they did that last...it was late...I had had 2 interviews...and my mind was just not there....actually did better on the test run....and I told them that!!! He mentioned that I was not assertive enough....and it was between me and 2 other gals.....but if the interview process was this hard ....do I want the job!?!?!? The job is in mental health mostly...and telling unstable people things they don't want to hear.....Hmm...the word postal comes to mind. Don't mind me...I'm tired!!!! Tired of looking for a job.

Post Thanksgiving!!!

Yesterday was a busy day....Had my Stampin' Free for All!!! Sandy was hoping to come....but had to work....and everyone else was busy with holiday things....I should have changed the day....but forgot to do it earlier!!!! And my weekends have been swamped....so I don't think there was a free day in there!!! I did get to work on my scrapbook pages, in between getting dinner ready...WE had our second Thanksgiving that evening....so it's probably just as good no one came!!!! I tend to take on more than I can chew!!! The pages were super easy, as I've been trying to use up older Simply Scrappin' kits I have in pieces and parts, left over from classes....These were really old ones...like before they came out with self adhesive dies....adn 8 1/2 x 11" format!!!! The new ones are so much nicer....and they make for very quick and professional pages!!!! Ended up getting 8 pages done!!!!

Great Day!!!

Yesterday was my youngest daughters Baby Shower....unfortunatly, I was using my new camera...and lost half the pictures....But the ones I got were good ones!!!!

Then today, was my Stampin Free For All...and we had a blast.....Kim brought stuff to make Christmas Trees using the Big Shot Die...and we had Cute Christmas Trees all over the Stamp Studio....I wish I had taken a picture. I worked and finished 7 Scrapbook pages, in between helping everyone....I was trying to use up some very old Simply Scrappin' kits I have taking up room...
There is actually a page of the Baby Shower my friend Mary Ann gave me when I was pregnant with Alli....I may get these pages done someday!!!!

Stampin' Free For All.....

I must have picked a bad day. I did get lots of you that told me you wanted to come...but you had classes and other events already on the calendar for today....so I didn't get any takers....I did get some pages done....I'm trying to use up all of my old, old stuff....so this is a great excuse for me!!!!
This is using a very old Simply Scrappin kit....I mean...when we only did 8 1/2 x 11 format....but I love it, I have a ton of these old kits...most in pieces and parts...because we used them for classes , and I need to get them used up!!!!

This one was using some old stickers...you all know how much I hate the look of stickers...but for some reason, I have a whole folder of them....so I combined them with this football paper...and of course it is all layered with Old Olive Cardstock....to pull it all together!!!!
Can't wait to get to my pictures that are on digital...These are all old, old pics that were in those yucky magnetic albums, and my pictures all had to come out....Yuck!!!! Some of them are really compromised due to the chemicals...so I do need to scan them...and then I can do them digitally!!! Hopefully next week I can get to My Digital Studio and get going with some pages!!!

These are the swap cards I tried to upload yesterday...but Blogger wouldn't let me....Great ideas!!!!
