Coming up for Air!!!

The Stamp Show went very well this past weekend....the facilities at the Larimer County Fairgrounds were fantastic....wish the crowds had been a bit heavier....it is a long way out there!!! The drive home wasn't fun....there was a big wreck on I-25...so I decided to cut over to E-470....early to avoid it all...but the exit I took was one of those split ones...then the guy in front of me cut me off, so I missed my exit...and ended up going west instead of east...to Boulder....due to bad directions from a gal at McDonalds in Broomfield....So after much wandering in the dark, I finally found a road I knew...but it took me almost 4 hours to get home.....not fun.

Today was a very productive day. Got the house back to normal, then got some show work done...and then I actually got my swaps for Wednesday night done....


Then I thought I would share the projects that Joyce shared with us last month...at RMI....since we will be meeting Wednesday....

Sneek Peek and a Flash Back!!!

Much cooler day today...had to break out some jeans...it's my day off this week, so, I'm trying to play catch up!!! Picked up the house early, got caught up on laundry,then ran out to get some bank and post office stuff out of the way!!! Back home for some more cleaning...seems like that is a never ending battle...then... what to do with all of of this zucchini...so made some more zucchini bread and will take a loaf over to the new neighbors across the street!!! Dee...I tried your recipe, as I wasn't happy with the way my old regular zucchini bread recipe came out last time....

Was going thru my pile of things I need to post, and found last month's Stamper's 10 project...which I thought I had posted...and since we meet again tomorrow, thought I should get it on here, along with a Sneek Peek of this months projects!!!
The one on the left is a cute gift pack...holds gift coupons or small candies very well, and the Elephant one is a gift card holder.

Tomorrows' project is just cards....

A Sneek Peek

Here's a quick sneek peek of the project we will be doing today at Stampin' Free for all!!!

STamper's 10 Sneek Peek

Sorry, haven't been able to post everyday....am still trying to get into the groove of working and dong Stampin' Up....Tonight Steven took me out to dinner for my birthday...since it is tomorrow and we have Stamper's 10....We went to Ted's Montana Grill...I was dreaming of steak all afternoon...and I was not disappointed. Had to work late, so I headed over to the Shops at Briargate....and did some window shopping while I waited for Steven....too much fun stuff!!! I could lose myself in Pottery Barn and Pier 1.....Ulta was fun....Then Steven came...and off to a scrumptious dinner....Brought a few bites home for lunch tomorrow, since I am now working Thursday's also!!!

Fun Day and Sneek Peek!!!

Hi all...today was spent with my hubby...we did the Home Renovations, Parade of Home...and I like this one much better then the New Construction Parade....I loved each one...and learned something new at each one!!!! Hoping it will spure Steven onto getting the Laundry Room done...I so want it done!!! Or at the very least the front hall, finished off....it makes the rest of the house look so UNDONE....

Lazy Day...

It's Sunday...and it was a rough week...with another one coming up....so I'm taking it easy today....May even take a nap....woohoo!!!

Thought I would post a Sneek Peek of my Technique classes coming up!!!!
We will be doing Embossing Resist!!! One of my favorite techniques!!! If you are interested in joining us...we meet this month on Friday, April 16, 6:00 at Woodman Hills Rec Center East, and on Tuesday, April, 20, 6:30 at my home...with a $2.00 materials fee. It's a quick class and we learn a new technique each month...build a page for our books, and make a card with that technique!!! Call or e-mail me for more details...I'd love to have you join us!!!

Color Shake Up!!!

I was just telling a customer the other day...I don't think they will be changing colors...but ya never know....and what do they go and do...announce that they are re-vamping all of the colors....And they are beautiful....I can't post them to the web yet until Stampin' Up! does....but if you stop by the house, I can show you....You are gonna love them...some old colors will be returning...lots of the In-colors will be brought back...and there are 5 new colors!!! WooHoo, they are very beautiful!!! That is all I can Say!!! As I weed out my old product...we will have to have lots of give-aways!!! WooHoo!!!!

Sneek Peek Time

Not sure if I'll get anything else finished and up here today...so thought I'd put up our Sneek Peeks for our Thursday and Friday Stamper's 10 Clubs!!!
Ok, The ribbon on this one is not all sparkly ... not sure what Blogger is doing here....because on my PC it looks fine.

I also have something special for everyone....so you don't want to miss!!!
Did the test for the Census Enumerators this morning....did great...got 28 out of 30....and you only had to have a 10 or better to pass....but they give an extra 5 points to veterens, and an extra 15 points ot disabled veterens....so we shall see. There weren't many at the test, which surprised me. Somewhere in the middle of the test I got out of whack on what # I was on, and what I put for an answer, so had to go back and double check all of my answers to make sure I had the right on on the right #. I hate taking tests!!!

Projects as Promised, a Tip, and a Sneek Peek

OK....last 2 projects from our Stamp Club Event....These gals make the most fabulous cards!!!!



I haven't shared a Tip in ages....I thought I'd do a Product tip!!! It is the Staz On Cotton White Pad.

When you get this pad, it will be un-inked, but the re-inker is included.....the reason being, Staz On is a sovent based ink, and it dries very fast...it also dries out very fast...hence they ship it uninked...so you don't end up with a dry brand new one. Make doubly sure that you keep the little clear cover under the lid...it helps to keep it moist....and be sure you wash your stamps well with either Stazon Cleaner or Stampin' Mist...as it is a solvent and could damage the rubber if left on.....

Long Day....

It seemed like a very long day today....Not sure why!!!! I ran errands in the morning....then had a field day in Target. I was after a turkey roaster....Last Easter...I was baking a carrott cake the day before Easter...for Easter Dinner...and my oven went up in flames....We never did figure out what was up. I put the cake in and in about 5 minutes...found it burnt to a krisp. Then I was in a panic as we were hosting Easter dinner...and I was afraid to put a ham in the oven....so we went to about every store in Colorado Springs ...looking for a Roaster...and no one had them...I guess they only come out at Christmas....so this year I'm prepared.....got my roaster!!!! Oh...the oven worked perfectly Easter morning!!! Go figure!!!!

Thought I would do a Sneek Peak for my project and swap for Saturday...

Got an E-mail from Stampin' Up!...my Certification for My Digital Studio went thru...so I am Official....have been having so much fun with it!!!!Stop by and I will give you a demo!!

So many projects...so little time!!!

I know I haven't been getting many projects posted lately...I have been working on many projects...but have only finished a few.....I guess I have my hand in too many pots....they will all come up done at once!!!! ( I'm also waiting on product I was sure I had ordered....so there will be lots once that all comes in. I did finish this great fall card yesterday....it uses bleaching...a technique I just love!!!!
