So...so...sorry!!!

It's just been way crazy with work, and all the Christmas preparations...but I really got caught up today. I'd like to say, I'm totally done shopping....thought I had finished this morning, with gifts and food for meals...but got home and realized that I still needed ONE more thing!!!! So, I have to go to a funeral tomorrow morning, and will swing by the shops after that. Steven gave me a huge surprize and actually finished the trim on the Laundry Room doors, so now I need to get paint for the door. It looks SOOO......good, very rich and elegant...will take a picture when I get the door painted!!! He's out in his shop working on the shelves for above the washer and dryer...WOOHOO!!!! So I aplogize for not getting things posted....here are the projects we did last week at Stamper's 10. This was a little folder made out of one of the rectangular envelopes, that held some little thank you notes...too cute!!!! Right now I am in love with the color combo of yellow and black....so this is a project I came up with.
If you like spy movies...we rented Salt last night...and it was very good!!! Lots of twists!!!!

Hey All!!

Sorry I have been so missing in action.....My company Christmas Party was last nite...and I was in charge of it...and so I have been very busy...things should return to normal soon!!! The party was beautiful...came off with no hitches...We had it at the Cliff House. Food was fabulous. The place was fabulous....although I want to try and schedule earlier next year so we can get a room with a fireplace...was the only touch missing!!! I won one of the Door Prizes...a Belgian Waffle Maker....guess what we had for b-fast...Yumm!!!! Will put pictures as soon as they get back from the photographer!!!

So thought I'd post a few pics....

These were last months Stamper 10 projects....will post this months in a few days...need to get the boxes cleaned out!!!

These were in my pile, I think they were from a swap!!!! They aren't marked, so I'm thinking it was my Stamping Friends Club Swap ...we did back in October.

Fall into Winter

Hello all....I finally feel as if I'm catching up!!! Will surely do so this next week!!! Such a good feeling!!!

Friday was a fun day at work as I set up Christmas trees and decorations....will finish up on Monday and Tuesday along with getting Children Christmas party and Company Dinner gifts all wrapped. At home I'm about done all the gifts that need to be mailed, on to the kids here at home!!!

Thought I would share some more out of my pile of cards here....

These were from last months RMI meeting....I think our swap was Birthday...as all of mine were of that theme....the cupcake one was done by Leatha...it is a slide out pop-up card...too cute, and the Pear card was by Theresa....thanks guys.

These 2 I believe were from last months Stampin' Friends...the projects that we worked on!!!

Coming up for Air!!!

The Stamp Show went very well this past weekend....the facilities at the Larimer County Fairgrounds were fantastic....wish the crowds had been a bit heavier....it is a long way out there!!! The drive home wasn't fun....there was a big wreck on I-25...so I decided to cut over to E-470....early to avoid it all...but the exit I took was one of those split ones...then the guy in front of me cut me off, so I missed my exit...and ended up going west instead of east...to Boulder....due to bad directions from a gal at McDonalds in Broomfield....So after much wandering in the dark, I finally found a road I knew...but it took me almost 4 hours to get home.....not fun.

Today was a very productive day. Got the house back to normal, then got some show work done...and then I actually got my swaps for Wednesday night done....

Then I thought I would share the projects that Joyce shared with us last month...at RMI....since we will be meeting Wednesday....

Too much fun!!!!

Stamper's 10 projects

It has been a busy week...Monday I worked, and then had to run errands after work, and didn't make it home till after 8:30, and was ready for bed by the time the groceries were put up!!! Tuesday I worked, and had my Technique Tuesday class after, then orders to put up, and order....and again, and early night for me....I'm turning into a pumpkin!!!

Started writing this on Wednesday, but obviously didn't get it finished, so Wednesday was my day off...and I ran all day....didn't help that they had my orders all messed up for lab work...and so I ran across town and back 3 times...why they could not do this with a fax I do not know....So didn't get all done I had planned....and then almost forgot that I had Rocky Mountain Inkslingers to go to for 6:30...rushed off to that...and was glad I did...stamping for fun is so much fun!!!

Today I worked...and so now I'm playing catch up in my Studio....thought I would post the projects that we did at this month's Stamper 10...This first one was one of the Make-n-Takes from Convention...
A very sinmple but nice card....I'm lovin' simple right now!!!

The next was in one of my publications from Stampin' Up...Gotta love that!!!

Another simple card...the article was about using the Embossing Folders and Texture Plates in your stamping to get more texture into your projects....Photos don't do justice... this first one is using and embossing folder on the yellow...and texture plate on the orange....

This one, you actually make your own embossing template with a window sheet and the Big Shot....then dry emboss the old fashioned way, and...

I love this one...using the embossing folders and then lightly rubbing with an ink pad, direct to paper...to give it an antiqued look. Gotta love the grandangel too!!!

Sneek Peek and a Flash Back!!!

Much cooler day today...had to break out some jeans...it's my day off this week, so, I'm trying to play catch up!!! Picked up the house early, got caught up on laundry, then ran out to get some bank and post office stuff out of the way!!! Back home for some more cleaning...seems like that is a never ending battle...then... what to do with all of of this zucchini...so made some more zucchini bread and will take a loaf over to the new neighbors across the street!!! Dee...I tried your recipe, as I wasn't happy with the way my old regular zucchini bread recipe came out last time....

Was going thru my pile of things I need to post, and found last month's Stamper's 10 project...which I thought I had posted...and since we meet again tomorrow, thought I should get it on here, along with a Sneek Peek of this months projects!!!
The one on the left is a cute gift pack...holds gift coupons or small candies very well, and the Elephant one is a gift card holder.

Tomorrows' project is just cards....

Don't forget to leave me a comment about the new Mini catalog...if you don't have it, but want one...let me know...or check it out on line at www.cathy.stampinup.net

A Zuchinni Baking Day.....

Let's try this again...for some reason it didn't retain all I wrote!!!

Today was my day off...so I started out early with errands....came home at lunch time and started in with my Zuchinni Baking.....Made 3 loaves of Chocolate Zuchinni Bread...thanks so much for the recipe Kathy...Steven loved it!!! Will take one to work, freeze one...and the other is half gone already!!! Also put together 2 Green Summer Squash casseroles, one I will freeze and the other is for dinner tomorrow....Also gave tons of Zuchinni away on my excursions today...have a boat load to take to work...and Steven says he is putting out a stand tomorrow....as the Garden is chock full again!!!! After all that, went to my Friend Deb's house, who is a Miche Bag Rep....if you have not seen these bags, please go to her website. They are beautiful...got my 3rd cover and handles to convert my handbag to a shoulder bag!!!!

Was going thru my pile of cards to post and found this one, which I should have put with my projects from October's Rocky Mountain Inkslingers.
Beautiful card!!!

And here are the last of the Convention Swaps....
The small blue card is gorgeous....and the Popsicle Card is similar to what my Downline Karen did in her Class up at Jeffco County Fairgrounds this past spring.
This last one is just beautiful...the vases are ovals punched and then each end is cut off, curved a bit, and then white was sponged on one end to highlight it ....very classy!!!

Toasty Tuesday...

Hmmm...this weather just can't get much hotter...or steamy!!! I will sure be very glad when fall gets here!!!

Today, I'm posting pics of last month's Stamper's 10 Hostess Club projects....yes, I know, I'm way behind,.....but I have this month's projects almost done...so will do a sneek peek later!!!

This one is a Shaker Card...it's a little hard to see, but the center frame is raised, with a window, and beads in side to shake!!!!

This one was my favorite...although it was alot of work!!! Again...hard to see in the picture, but it is a movement card...when you open it, the stars are on strips of window sheet and they move!!!

And here are two more Convention Swaps...lots of butterflies and flowers this year!!!

And this was my contribution....all done with punches and dies!!!

Stamper's 10 Club Projects!!!

Hello All...I think I'm finally coming up for air....Anyways....It's been a busy couple of weeks....but I think I'm getting caught up.....Tuesday I drove with Steven to Monte' Vista...he and an inspection at a Camp....and I didn't want him driving all that way alone....so we had a beautiful drive out, and on the way back...stopped for a fun lunch at a Brew Pub in Alamosa. Saw the fires east of the Great Sand Dunes...very scary!!! I'm off of work today...but tomorrow I have to go in early, and then leave direct from work to drive up to Ft Lupton for a workshop....busy, busy. Thought I would post the pictures of the projects from this months Stamper's 10.

First are the pictures of the projects we actually did.

This was a cute Favor Box using the Fancy Favors Die with the Big Shot, and one of my favorite sets, Circle Circus.

This was a fun Little Bear Card using a new fold. He.She's doing the Hula!!!

Some more Circle Circus...I'm lovin' this set...can you tell!!!

I loved blinging the butterfly on this one with Chunky Glitter!!!

And this one is blinged up with a rhinestone brad!!!

Last but not least....I showed them a Swing card using the Retiring Surfing set. Here's the outside.....

And here is the inside...OOOPPPSSS!!!

Club Cards!!!

We had our Friday Stamper's 10 Club last nite...and Laura brought some yummy treats to share with us all!!!! Here are the 2 projects that we made...

This first one was a little treat box using the Fancy Favors Die...this die will also hold 2 of the Milk Box boxes....so it is very versatile....You can order it # 115965, $39.95, and it will be in the new catalog!!!

This Card is one of my favorite this year....Little Bear is doing the Hula....and we all survived the body piercing!!!!

Here are some more cards that I showed!!!

This one matched the Treat box we made...using the Circle Circus Set...this has become one of my favorites from this past catalog...it is just so versatile...and you will be able to get it in the new catalog...#115778, $28.95.

This is another card using the same "Z" fold that we used for the Little Bear Card....Just a different orientation.

I love the simplicity of this card...you don't have to go crazy to have a nice card!!!

And lastly...this card is a Swing card...I love the little guy who took a spill off of his surfboard!!!

Coming Up For Air

OK All....I do apologize....it has been ages since I posted...and I have missed you all...my job with the Census is winding down...and I am hoping to be done on Tuesday, as long as they don't assign any new territory to us.

I thought I would post pictures of this months Stamper's 10 projects....

This first card was one using a Doodling Technique that I used for one of my Technique classes....simple card...but a way to extend your stamps!!!

I love this little purse...it shows how to do the Faux Alligator ...and I'm hoping to get a few more samples of this on here....I just ran out of time to get them made up!!!!

This was just a sample that I did using the top note and a small paper bag in between!!! Cute little gift holder!!!
I will try to get back to my regular posting now that my life is a little more under control!!!! Cathy
