An Appelly kind of day!!!!

Woke up to thick, thick fog....but actually it turned out to be a perfect apple picken day. After Church we headed out to meet our daughter and family, and then down to Penrose to the Happy Apple Farm. What a treat!!!! This came out a little dark...for it being such a grey day....These are the girls!!!!

I'm so behind in my postings...I do apologize!!!! Here are pictures of the projects we did in this months Stamper 10. They were very simple cards...but oh so elegant!!!!

Here are a few more convention swaps!!!!

I saw these wonderful bags at Momento Mall at Convention, and just had to get them for my Direct Downline....just finished boxing them all up to go out in tomorrows' mail...shhhh....don't tell my girls!!!!
They had 2 styles....this is what they looked like...
For myself, I picked up some business supplies...a great Designer Paper Sampler.
A punch template, with ALL of our punches!!!!
And a ribbon Sampler...this is my favorite...but you know how I love ribbon!!!

Yesterday was a great day. My friend Kim and I went up to the Stamp Convention up in Loveland....Kim drove her husband's spankin' brand-new Prias, so we went in style!!! It was a great convention this year....I think they were at capasity...there will be another one next weekend here in the Springs....but I'm going out of town with Steven for our anniversary....so will have to miss that one.
I pretty much stuck to the Sizzix booth (gee, I wonder why!!!)...and spent way too much, but I had my left over Great Rewards gift card from Stampin' Up! so I couldn't let it go to waste....I only ended spending about $30 in cash...not too bad!!!! Then about half way thru the show....Kim comes running up to me ...."You won one of the door prizes!!!!"
Oh, My, Gosh....I never win anything!!! It was a grab bag of all sorts of product...who doesn't love product!!!!

I will try and get some swaps from Convention on here tomorrow!!!!

Back...finally, tired, but ready to go!!!!

My oh my...could it have gotten any worse. Paula and I got to the SLC airport, after leaving Convention a few minutes early...only to find that they had cancelled our tickets, back on Wednesday when we had to switch airlines......Nice!!! We stayed patient...and finally worked thru it all, and got home late last nite.....but could anything more have gone wrong with travel. Convention was a blast, as usual, and I learned soooo much, as usual. I would love to box you all up and take you all with me ....sign up on my team and you can come on a more than fun stamping mini vacation!!!

My Digital Studio will be out sometime this fall. They are working the final bugs out of it...but what I saw...way impressed me....it is fantastic!!!! From total pre done template pages that you just drop your pictures into....to starting from scratch, to build a page...and anywhere in between!!!! I'm kinda a good example of a middle of the road person....I want to get my pictures off of my camera and onto pages, print them out, and then at my monthly Stampin' Free For All, I can embellish to my hearts content and make them truly my own. This system is great for someone who has been scrappin for a while or someone not sure they want to jump in. I will be getting one of the first copies....so we can all explore this together!!! Start thinking about maybe a Scrappin party!!!

Build a Bear was just too cute. I got home to my box of supplies...waiting for me, and can't wait to sit down and start making cards and projects. I am also offering Children's workshops, and parties and I will work with you to custom tailor to your needs!!!

The jewelry line should be available in September...and it to0, was gorgeous....I was very impressed, having worked with jewelry before...I also learned some other fun things to do and make.....Maybe you would like to do a jewelry afternoon or evening with your friends....let me know...It would be way fun. I don't want them to miss out on this wonderful product. (lots of fabric and diecuts!!!!)

The Decor Elements for your walls is also just too much fun...I wish I had more wall space in my house...the displays they had, and decorating tips were just great. Again...I'm working individually to custom parties using these products...so maybe you want to do up a wall in your home....or maybe a mirror, or window....call me....I'm sure your friends would love to see what they can do in their homes to...inexpensively, and All by themselves!!!!

Much better day today, although it was a struggle....called Delta every hour...no one could seem to go and actually look for our luggage....so after classes today, Paula and I headed over to the airport to find our luggage....and there it was, in the land of lost luggage, a huge room full of misplaced suitcases....if I hadn't been so tired, and felt so yucky, I probably would have really yelled at someone....but I just wanted clean underware!!!!

Here is the main hall just before opening sessions...lots of energy!!!!

Isn't she just too cute...this is my new mascot, Bernadette Bear....part of the new Build a Bear line.....She will be helping me out at workshops!!!! Way too cute, can't wait till my stamps and dies get here!!!

They unveiled the Digital Scrapbooking....and oh, my gosh....I can't wait till I can get my hands on an actual copy....they are working the final bugs out of it....but it is so cool!!! I Love it!!!! Cards, pages, books, calendars....so much to do with it, and SOOO flexible!!!

What a Day!!!

No pics today.....it's been quite a day....started, getting up at 3:00, to get up, get Paula, and then get to the airport....hurry up and wait. We got to our gate at around 5:00, and it seemed awful dead...so at 5:30 we went to the desk...oh, that flight was cancelled....gee, when were you planning on telling us.....we stood for the next hour while the gate agent tried to get us to another flight....fortunatly, one of the other demos, had gotten on the phone to Delta, and found us all flights... and got us all set up.....something the gate guy couldn't seem to do.....so we run over to American, bound for Salt Lake, via Dallas....we were assured out luggage would follow...I guess they can't laugh at you and say...no way will your lugagge get there in one piece!!!.....Finally got to SLC, 6 hours later(we did have a nice lunch in the Admirals Club, thank you Nanette!!!)....only to find our luggage would be on a later flight and they would deliver it to our hotel later in the afternoon. SO we went over to the Convention center and did all of our check in and purchases.....and out to a nice dinner....started walking back to the hotel...and the wind picked up...micro burst time.....yuck!!!! Got to the hotel....no luggage.....it's still sitting in Co. Spgs....would be on the first flight out.....so no clean clothes, or toiletries.....so we are not happy campers...and not in the best of moods....But, we did get here....and tomorrow has got to be better!!!! I would love to go sit in the hotel hot tub...but I don't think they allow skinny dipping.....drop me a comment to lift my spirits...and your name will go in the blog comment drawing on Sunday!!!!!

Success!!!!

Spent the day playing...and working...Stamping is always play, but I was under a deadline to get my swaps done for Convention...and Yippee!!! I succeeded!!!!

This was the first one I came up with.... It was really hot out, when I had the ideas...and I was thinkin' Fall....the new In Colors are so Fallish!!! Simple card....but I was pleased with it.

This one is even simpiler....but I just love the way the colors came together.....The Top Note Die is so much fun to use!!!!

Then this was a little treat box I made for Paula my roomate at Convention. I love the Pillow Box Dies we carry....it makes great, quick little gifts!!!!n This one has chocolate in it!!! Yumm!!!

I actually got my August Stamper's 10 projects put together...and started cutting paper, and also started working on the Fall Boxing Class Boxes...they are gonna be so stinkin' cute!!!! You are all gonna want to do this class.
