Another Quilted bag....

My Flowers are in the wash getting Chabby Chic....but I did get this bag done...This is a smaller version of the one I did for my daughter....I saw one on the web today that someone did as on cube...and made the cutest little Easter Basket!!!! Too Cute!!!!



I've got a class tonite...if the weather cooperates....and still lots of catching up to do....not sure how the demos who do more classes then me keep up...they must never sleep...I like my sleep....don't take that away!!!

Another Catch Up Sunday!!!!

It was another one of theose catch up days!!!! To start...on Friday afternoon, we lent our truck to our son-in-law for the weekend as they were moving some furniture. Well, I get a call at dinner time....and I hate calls that start with...we've had a little problem.....Ouch.....fortunatly it doesn't seem like too big of a problem....The truck broke down, Steven was on his way to Poker Nite up in Monument...So I went on out to the truck(fortunatly it wasn't too far away!!!!) and got all of the faluables out of it...Garmon and tools, as the police called and warned us not to leave the Garmon in it or it would get broken into.....I had an all day stamp event yesterday, but Steven was able to determine what he thought was wrong...and cars are so complex now...he just couldn't get to the part to fix it. So this afternoon, we carefully drove it over to our mechanics....and hopefully it won't be to painful to fix...at least we were able to save the towing cost!!!

Got caught up on all sorts of things....as I have a busy week....Class tomorrow nite, with a job interview in the AM, Red Hat event on Tuesday. Dr appointment Wednesday AM, Taxes in the afternoon....and something in the evening. Thursday and Friday I have Stamper's 10, and a workshop on Saturday....and Stamp group on Sunday....so if I get my swaps and project done it will be a miricle!!!!

Then I go to make Dinner.....I had thrown a bread mix in the bread machine...Yumm....it smelled so.....yummy. Was making a Beer Cheese Soup...but when I went to get the cheese out...it was half gone....My free ranging son.....and that is the 2nd time I have replaced the cheese.....I was so mad!!!! I told him...next time...he is walking down to Safeway...and getting me my ingredient....I don't care when it is when I realize it is gone!!!! Fortunatly I had some Velvetta...but I'm sure it would have been soo....much better with the proper cheese!!!!

WEll....with all that is going on...I didn't get much finished up to post....but here is a card I did for Valentines....I know...I'm a little late...

Did the test for the Census Enumerators this morning....did great...got 28 out of 30....and you only had to have a 10 or better to pass....but they give an extra 5 points to veterens, and an extra 15 points ot disabled veterens....so we shall see. There weren't many at the test, which surprised me. Somewhere in the middle of the test I got out of whack on what # I was on, and what I put for an answer, so had to go back and double check all of my answers to make sure I had the right on on the right #. I hate taking tests!!!

So sorry Ladies!!!

OK...I know I haven't posted a project in a few days....I have a bunch done...but they are all to events...and I can't post them until after the fact!!!! To be Fair!!! So, know a bunch are coming....lots fo fabric stuff...I should have the class for the Big Shot and Fabric in a day or two. I have the last one almost done...but then it has to go thru a wash load to get Chabby Chic!!!! SO SO Cute!!! I aklso have another Rag Quilted Bag that I did for a gift....once it's washed...I will post it too!!!

Home Decor

I love making things for the house.....it seems I've got a Time Themed thing going on in my front entry-way.....I have a sofa table there, and have a decopaged clock that I made, and hour glass, and so I did this up for a calendar.....The Calendar Kit was in the Holiday Mini....I usually get those and work a class around it...but time just got away from me this year....so I decided to use it for this....came out pretty good!!!

Did a Job Fair this morning....and boy...what a ZOO!!!! First, parking was a nightmare...I was on the bottomost basement level(4) and as far back as I could go....I actually had a panic attach on the way out....thinking about all of the earthquakes...I would not want to be down there then...it is dark and dingy normally.....I was never happier to come around the corner to sunlight!!! The fair...was about as crowded as it could get....and so hot...and naturally, I ment to leave my big heavy parka in the car...and forgot...so it was really hot!!!! Most of the places, I had already applied to ....so that was a waste!!!! Back to filling out applications!!!
