Time for another Tutorial....

I made this all up, thinking I had a second frame to do the tutorial pictures....only to find I only had one frame....but it is easy enough to make with the picture and directions.....It came out pretty good. Can ya tell what my family is getting for Chrismas presents this year!!! SHHH!!!! Don't tell!!!!

1- Start off with a plain, simple frame...mine was wood, already white-washed from JoAnnes.... you could use a sturdy chipboard one also. Mine was about 8 1/2" x 6 1/4", with an opening of 3 3/4" x 5 3/4".

2- I used the papers in Christmas Cocoa Specialty paper, out of the Holiday Mini.(you can customize with any designer paper) I love the Red Flocked....cut a little bigger then your area to cover, and glue down with the Tombow Multi Purpose Glue. When it has dried, I trimmed close to the frame with my Hobby Blade, and then sanded all edges with a sanding block. (Inside edges also!!!)

3- Attach 5/8" grosgrain to match your paper at the seam of the 2 papers. I used Sticky Strip to attach.

4- I cut out a snowflake from the designer paper and backed the square Clear Button, tied it up with some Hemp Twine I colored with red reinker. Attache with a Glue Dot.

5- Cut a piece of Old Olive card stock to fit inside of frame, Then cut a piece of Whisper White about 1/2" smaller all around.

6- I stamped the tree from Snow Swirled in Old Olive, and then sponged Old Olive onto it with a Sponge Dauber. Punch a hole in top with the 1/16" punch and put in a red, Square Fire Rhinestone Brad.

7- Stamp the saying below in Basic Black ink.

8- Attach to Old Olive with Dimensionals and put into frame....You are Done!!!!

Simple enough...hope you enjoy!!!

I had scheduled to do a downline training event today...but the timing was bad...and I will reschedule in the Spring. Karen was able to come by...and we haven't seen each other in ages. Karen is one of my downline, and we used to work together at October Afternoon.... so we had lots to catch up on....so we went out to lunch, and then we came back to the studio and stamped. She was working on Christmas Cards...and I worked on this and the Tip I will post tomorrow!!! So Karen, if you read this..."HI"
