And...Another Yucky Day...

Ok...Again...we woke to raging snow...what is with this....Didn't want to get out of bed!!!! Need to get going...I have the Presentation Project for Rocky Mountain Inkslingers this evening...need to get going and get my car loaded..BRRR!!! and then I have some errands to run before I head over there.


These are the projects that we did 2 Saturdays ago at our Club meeting. Great Ideas!!!!








This is a simple project I did using the new Decor Elements....I love how easy they are to use....Can't wait to get some up on my walls!!!! I'm even going to do my laptop!!!

Teaser...

Well it's not really a teaser, I'm putting the whole picture up as the Club Members need to see it so they can bring supplies.....But here are the treat holders for my Rocky Mountain Inkslingers project that I am doing tomorrow.

Another Brisk Day!!!!

Yuck...I had to go into town early this morning for some lab work and x-rays(routine) and yuck....it was very cold and ICK.
Here are the last of the swaps from 2 weeks ago!!!










And this is the page we did for our Tuesday and Friday Technique class....the card we did is the same. It is a very easy technique, using 2 different glitters, I call "Glitter Times Two".

1-You cut out your immage using the Sticky Pages...I used the Large Alphabets in my Big Shot...too much fun!!!
2-Place that down on your paper and carefully pull up an edge and cut it. Do this in a few areas so that you have 3-4 spots open.
3-Pour your 1st Glitter color on and tap off well.
4-Take off the rest of the pink tape and add 2nd Glitter color. Voila' !!!

Snow Day!!!!

I wish I had thought to get pictures....Brr!!! Who ordered up this weather....it snowed really hard, on and off all day. It seems to be done now...but there are some big storm clouds on the horizon. Lets see...I'm trying something new with my camera and pictures....
WooHoo..it worked!!!!This will make life easier!!!

I survived the weekend!!!!

The Crop-a-Latte All Day Crop was a huge success...but boy...was I tired when I got home last nite....have been just sorta taking it easy today!!!! Thought I'd get a few things posted on here so that I can get caught up.
This was the card I did for my Stampin' Friends swap last weekend....I LOVE the look of this new fall set in the Holiday Mini....and it goes well with the In-Colors.
And here are a few of the swaps that I got!!!
I will get pictures of the all day crop, and my grandaughters 15th birthday, as soon as I can get pictures to Wal Mart, and then safely off of my camera!!!! Off to get the projects finished for Wednesday's Rocky Mountain Inkslingers Club meeting. I'm doing the project and this weekend took up way too much of my time, and thru me off schedule.
Oh...I did want to thank Anita....she was at my class at the rec center Friday nite, and followed me over to the Black Forest Community Center...and was such a dear to help me unload my car....I should have taken a picture...it was loaded....thank you so much...hope you were able to get lots of good goodies at the Garage Sale!!!!

SUPER WOMAN I AM NOT!!!!

Wheeew......I actually did it all....got all of the material cut and punched for my Make & Takes, and class this weekend....I will try and remember to take pictures. We did the Box class last night...and I let the ladies cut out most of the project....but it soon became very evident that we could not get 12 people thru 3 boxes in an hour if we did that...so I had to pre-cut and punch everything!!!! Then I got everything into their boxes, booth all dis-assembled...Packets made up, And it all loaded into my car....Along with the Technique class I am teaching tomorrow. Steven had tests all week at school...and got out early .....but not today....but I got it ALL in my car....By myself!!!! It is slam full!!!! Now if he gets home in the next hour...we can get MY Digital Studio loaded onto my notebook, so I can play with it this weekend at the Crop. I took another Webinar on doing cards with it....and it is going to be so much fun...if only to use as a design tool!!!! And look out when I figure out how to make my own background and banner for my Blog!!!! WooHoo!!! (Sidenote....Phyllis and Casey...you will be glad to know that that wire catalog stand does fold down...figured that out too!!!!)

I'm a little behind in my posts...I was going to do a drawing for my 1000 hits on the blog on the 15th....but I've been up to my eyeballs putting these classes together (and next week looks the same....at least I won't be working, and can devote time to it.) I had Matt pick...and the winner is ...KIM. You can pick a set next time you are over to the house...and I will get the paper together!!! Congratulations. Have had over 120 more hits since then!!!! Hoping without work( man I could get soooo used to this!!!!) I can get some tutorials on here!!!!

OK...The last of the Convention Swaps!!! Will get last weekends stamp club projects on next ....they were all Fall and you know how I love Fall!!!
